The hair is then two-strandtwistedfrom the root all the way to the ends of the hair shaft.
Marley Twist
Marley Twistsor KinkyTwistsare two strandtwistswith extension hair known asMarleyBraid Hair instead of the typical braiding hair.MarleyBraid Hair very closely resembles natural hair textures.
Kinky Twist
Kinky twistsare a two-strandtwistthat generally falls at the shoulders with curled ends. Other than the length of thetwists, there are two other major differences betweenKinky twistsand Marleytwists. The first difference is the installation process.
Nubian Twist
Nubian twistsare a two-strand twist hairstyle similar to Kinky twists and Marley twists. Nubian twists use a special hair type of hair extension called Nubian hair to achieve the look. The hair creates a more defined two-strand twist that can resemble a spring.
Nubian twists are small and worn short, generally no longer than the shoulder. Despite the length, the style is versatile and can be worn down or in a half up, half down style. Accessories can also be added to the hair.
Havana Twists
Thicker, fullertwistswith just two strands. The looser you make thetwist, the fuller thetwist appears. Requires less hair — only 5-6 bags of hair.
Passion Twist or
Spring Twist
Passion twists(also known as springtwists) are what happens when Senegalesetwistsand goddess locs get together. They’re a new form of two-strandtwiststhat are done using wavy hair extensions, creating a boho look with more texture.

Bantu Knots
Bantu knots are one ofour favorite hairstyles. The hairstyle has varying results ondifferent hair typesand textures. For some, the knots create a lovely curly effect with tight, springy curls.
For others, the knots create looser waves that are equally stunning. You can create several hairdos throughout the week with Bantu Knots.
Senegalese Twist
The Senegalese twists hairdo is a protective hairstyle mostly done on afro hair using kinky hair extensions. Senegalese twists are from Senegal, Africa. It’s also called a rope twist or a crochet twist. It’s called a protective hairstyle because it protects your hair from damage caused by coloring, environmental conditions, and heat styling.
Moreover, your hair grows much faster when braided in a Senegalese twist. Senegalese twists are obtained by using hair extensions blended with your natural hair. They not only help protect hair but also grow hair in a healthy state.
Yarn Braids
Yarn braids are a type ofprotective style that uses yarn instead of braiding hair. Yarn braids offer many of the same benefits as other protective styles — they help protect your hair from the elements, allow you to grow your hair longer, and give you the freedom to experiment with a wide variety of styles and colors.
